VISIT SAINT-RAPHAËL 14.5 KM FROM THE CAMPSITE
During your stay in the Var, our campsite in Roquebrune-sur-Argens is only 14.5 kilometres from Saint-Raphaël.
Take the opportunity to visit the village district. A flower and vegetable market awaits you every day during the summer. For history buffs, the Romanesque church of San Rafèu, dating from the 12th century, gives you the opportunity to discover the Archaeological Museum of Saint-Raphaël.
A tower awaits you as well as a superb 360° panorama: an enchanting view of the Estérel peaks, the tip of Saint-Tropez and the rock of Roquebrune-sur-Argens.
Sainte-Maxime, a unique destination
A haven of peace, the village of Sainte-Maxime, located between land, sea and Provence, invites you to savour unique moments. Natural landscapes, culture, gastronomy and wines, all the elements are gathered to make your stay and your holidays unforgettable. Beaches, restaurants, shopping, discover the Provencal markets, treasure hunts in the old town and walks to discover the natural heritage.
Practical information: the village of Sainte-Maxime is 20.7 kilometres (via the D8 road) from our campsite in Roquebrune-sur-Argens.
The beach of Saint-Aygulf
In Fréjus, the Saint-Aygulf beach allows naturism from 14 June to 31 August from 9 am to 7 pm and from 1 September to 26 September from 10 am to 6 pm. A part of the beach is also reserved for the dogs of Fréjus. They must be kept on a lead.
Unmissable, discover Saint-Tropez
Mythical Pampelonne beach, cafés, restaurants by the harbour adorned with the yachts of billionaires, Saint-Tropez remains a Provencal village not to be missed. During your stay, take the time to visit and tour the must-see places on the Côte d’Azur.
Things to do in Saint-Tropez :
- relax on the harbour and its restaurants, facing the yachts of billionaires and sailing ships.
- admire the pétanque players on the Place des Lices and discover its Provencal market.
- eat or swim on the beach of Pampelonne.
- visit Notre-Dame de l’Assomption and the famous yellow bell tower of Saint-Tropez.

LAKE SAINT-CASSIEN: A PLACE OF FRESHNESS
An emblematic tourist attraction in the Var, the Saint-Cassien lake is not to be missed. Located in the Pays de Fayence, this lake covers an area of 420 hectares and is surrounded by a natural and preserved area. Ideal for family time, there are many activities on offer: water sports, pedal boats, inflatable games, paddles, fishing, rowing and restaurants. Access to the lake is free!
Practical information: Lake Saint-Cassien is 39.7 kilometres (via the A8 motorway) from our campsite in Roquebrune-sur-Argens. You can also visit the beautiful little village of Tanneron where the annual mimosa festival takes place.
Activities near the Esterel
Kayaking, jet-skiing, snorkelling, boat hire, horse riding, climbing, canyoning or escape games, the activities are numerous in the PACA region. Summer and winter alike, l’Estérel offers you a multitude of choices for sports and leisure activities with magnificent landscapes in the most beautiful natural areas of the Côte d’Azur.
The creeks of the Esterel
Far from the hustle and bustle of the crowds, the creeks of the Esterel are ideal for a complete change of scene. These red volcanic rocks are still preserved places that border the sea.
The Esterel massif is home to some beautiful calanques that you will appreciate for their beauty.
Discover Cannes, 30 km from the campsite
Cannes, the emblematic place of the French Riviera and of cinema.
It is impossible not to visit Cannes without strolling along the mythical Croisette and the red steps of the Palais des Festivals in Cannes. Luxury and chic atmosphere in the pedestrian areas of Rue d’Antibes and Meynadier.
As for the sea, it is accessible everywhere nearby (Palm Beach in particular and the beaches of Golfe-Juan). Finally, the city’s green spaces, the facades of the luxury hotels (Carlton, Martinez) and its beautiful sedans parked nearby are guaranteed to amaze.
Practical information: our campsite, Le Moulin des Iscles, is only 48 kilometres from the town of Cannes via the A8 motorway.
